I had pain in my heart this morning
Just yesterday, I was congratulating people of UK about them getting to host the 2012 Olympic. And today, I was totally shocked to hear about the explosion going on in London which kill many and injured many more!
It is joy followed by sorrows...
My condolences to the families of those who suffered from the blast, and may those injured recover fast from this terrible incident.
Life is full of uncertainty.
It is full of changes!
It is impermenant!
I-Ching, or the Book of Change, with its name implies, stated that life is in constant flux of change. The word I (Yi in pinyin) means 'change' in Chinese. It is formed from the characters of the sun and the moon, which represents yang and yin respectively.
The elements of yin and yang means that life changes constantly to and from between good and bad, joy and sorrow, happiness and sadness, high and low and between any two extreme qualities. This is the dualistic principles in I-Ching.
In any events or things, there are two qualities within. There's no such thing as complete good or perfectly bad things. It is the degree of good, or bad that matters.
Take for example, can we say that a person is good because there's no bad quality in him, or a person is bad because he or she have never done any 'good' at all??? A good person may at times been guilty of small bad deeds, and a bad person may at times have some good in him or her. Isn't it?
That's the reason why I posted on my blog with "Good in the Bad, Bad in the Good" yesterday.
With all this said, a good thing may have some negative side in it. And vice versa, a bad thing may have some positive side in it. It depends on how we perceive the issue.
Having said this, I remembered a story related to this principes, which I will be sharing in my website: http://www.TaichiExerciseForHealth.com soon. Come visit me later for this story.
Now back to London... it is definitely tough to accept and face this event, especially those suffering loses, in terms of their loved one, or valuables. However, it is not the time to grieve or feel depressed.
It is time to stand up boldly in face of challenges and get those responsible for these terrible acts into justice! And help those in need, and help those injured to recover fast, or to save lives of those who are critical.
It is time to stand united in face of these challenges. And with this, it is possible to harness some good or positive sides in facing the bad or negative sides of events...
There's not much we can do to undo this that have been done. Changes is inevitable. How we face changes is what makes us stronger than ever. And that's the principles in I-Ching and Tai Chi.
And Tai Chi Boxing is a representation of these principles. Get a copy of FREE report on Tai Chi Chuan at: http://www.TaichiForYourHealth.com
I will be doing some meditation tonight - to wish those who are injured to recover fast, and to those who suffered loss to be free from suffering. To those who now returned to their Creator, may they be blessed with love and compassion in eternity. And those believing in re-birth, may they be born in blissful and higher states of existence.
And may all be blessed with the Energy of Tai Chi! :)
With lot's of pain,
C. Guan Soo
