The Good in the Bad, The Bad in the Good

As I read the newspaper this morning - there's a big Headline flashing over the page - "London 2012". London will host the Olmypic event in 2012! Congratulations! Well done, to the people in UK! I'm sure there will be much joy now in the country.

But, in the same time - I'm sure that the people in France will be very, very disappointed, am I right? Defeat was and will never be loved, by most of us. Moreover, when it was a very close fight!

Now, this is why in I-Ching, there are the Two Elements - Yin and Yang. Look at the 2-fish diagram. It is divided into 2 section in proportion. And within each elements, there's a dot in it. What does this means?

This means, in the yin element, there will be yang element and vice versa, in the yang element, there will be yin element. This give rise to the Four Phenomena.

I have put up the information site already, and for more about these, please go to http://www.TaichiExerciseForHealth.com

Now, come back to the Four Phenomena. What does it means to us?

In any events or things, there will be some good in the bad, and some bad in the good. Just like there's some yin in the yang, and some yang in the yin. Like the case about the Olympic bidding - there's good bad news in the good news, there's sorrow amongst joy, there's losing among winning and so on.

So, what's next?

Yesterday, I shared about balancing between yin and yang. This is because, in life, there will be a mixture of good and bad, joy and sorrow, happiness and sadness, winning and losing, high and low, and it all come in a 'package'! :)

Therefore, we should learn to be more give and take - and accept the nature of life as it is. Enjoy the good things, and accept the bad one bravefully and gracefully. This will then help us to achieve a more balance and harmonious life.

Pssst... just to share with you. One of my articles about learning Tai Chi Chuan was published yesterday and I was really, really high on this one. :) If you like, you can read it at: http://www.ezinearticles.com/?id=48486

But, later in the evening - I received news about my notebook: the data cannot be saved, and to repair it, the cost is equivalent of getting a new PC! There goes my work, and money too!!! :(

Sigh! Good news and bads news just in a day's time! Well, there's what I-Ching is trying to tell us. If we face it gracefully, after all, life isn't that bad, don't you agree?

Wishing you with a balance, harmonious and happy life! :)

May the Energy of Tai Chi be with you!

Cheers!
