"Build Relationship With Your Prospects Easily And Legally With Automated And Personalised Emails!"

Dear Prospective Clients,

If you want to build relationship with your prospects offline, you probably need to call or visit them regularly, providing them with the latest information and updates regularly etc.

Now, you can do this using the Internet - specifically Auto Responders systems.

Auto Reply vs Auto Responder

Now, we're not talking about the Auto Reply features, where someone send you an email, and then they'll received an email instantly saying you've received their emails.

No, not that. That doesn't work anymore, unless you take time to answer them personally after they've received the automated email.

Auto Responder system is a system where it can send a series of automated emails over a period of time.

Picture This...

Take for example, someone signed up for your newsletter, they will immediately receive a welcome email, personalised with their names and emails.

Next day, they will receive the first issue of the newsletter. The following day, they'll receive another email asking them whether they have any problem downloading the newsletter.

The following week, another newsletter, and so on.

Impossible To Do It Manually...

Now, this is a lot of work if you're doing it manually. You need to also keep track whom you have send the first email, whom you need to send the second email, whom you need to send the third email and so on.

Now, leave all these to the Auto Responder system.

Your benefits of using this system are:

You only need to setup the email series once. The rest are automated. Saves you a lot of time and efforts!

Your prospects will receive regular email, personalised with their names, and they'll remember you.

This is a subtle way to send promotional messages through your email. (Hard selling emails are a BIG no-no!)

You have the opportunity to position yourself as the expert in your business niche, and you're likely to be consulted when your prospects need the services you're offering

Auto Responder opt-in complies with 'permission marketing' and IS the only LEGAL method to do your email marketing campaign.

(Anyone whom I didn't give my permission to send me promotional emails will be marked as SPAM* immediately!)

Also the only LEGAL way of collecting email database.

         Definition of SPAM as follows:

All bulk email sent to recipients who have not expressly registered permission for their addresses to be placed on the specific mailing list, and which requires recipients to "opt-out" to stop further unsolicited bulk mailings, is by definition, "Spam".

Unsolicited means that the Recipient has not granted verifiable permission for the message to be sent. Bulk means that the message is sent as part of a larger collection of messages, all having substantively identical content.

Looking at the spam definition above, I can't help be laughed at the unsolicited emails which I've received... with a declaration at the bottom saying, "This email is not considered SPAM as long as the source is known, and you have the option to 'unsubscribe'".

Permission Is Needed!
No Permission Given = SPAM!!!

They are spam as long as I didn't give them permission to send me promotional emails!

"Oh, Malaysia never mind one! Not regulated what!"

Look, let me cite the Malaysian law...

There are no specific provisions on the illegality of Spam. However, the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 provides that a person who initiates a communication using any applications service, whether continuously, repeatedly or otherwise, during which communication may or may not ensue, with or without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any person at any number or electronic address commits an offence.

Whether the source is known or not, and whether that's an option to unsubscribe or not, if it 'annoys' your prospects... that's it! It's an offence!

         So, what should you do?

         Look at this:

The first rule for the marketer is to obtain permission/consent of the recipient before sending out marketing messages. The target audience should only be those who have expressed an interest in a particular product or service being marketed by that sender.

The sender is also obligated to provide accurate sender information and install a functional "unsubscribe" facility in the mail sent out.

So, even the MCMC ask you to obtain permission/consent of the recipient first before sending out marketing messages.
